MORELAND HILLS

Moreland Hills is an affluent suburb located just 14 miles to the east of Cleveland. It is best known as the birthplace of James A. Garfield, the country’s 20th president, and has a history that goes back to its first settlements in 1815. All around the village are historic landmarks and attractions blending seamlessly with polo fields, golf courses, shopping centers, and other modern amenities.

Moreland Hills’ ideal location, upscale lifestyle, proximity to excellent schools, and other family-friendly features make it a highly sought-after community.

CHAGRIN FALLS

Encompassing over 2 square miles, Chagrin Falls takes its name from the natural waterfall cascading from the middle portion of the Chagrin River that bisects the township from northeast to southwest. It is a walkable village brimming with a rich history, architectural grandeur, and breathtaking natural surroundings.

Formerly a manufacturing town, Chagrin Falls has evolved into a primarily residential community that successfully blends small-town warmth and charm with a rich history and modern suburban conveniences. It is known as the area’s foremost art center. Along with being the host to the annual documentary film festival and the Falls Art Festival. There have also been movies such as The Gathering and Kings of Summer that have been filmed in the area.

Chagrin Falls is home to award-winning public school district with several “Excellent” ratings from Newsweek. The schools include:

Chagrin Falls Intermediate School – Grades 4-6

BENTLEYVILLE

The village of Bentleyville in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, has a total area of just 2.6 square miles, but it’s a favored location for those who prefer a quieter rural feel. Located only 22.7 miles from Downtown Cleveland, Bentleyville is a mere 27 minutes away via the I-480 E.

Bentleyville’s tranquil landscape beckons those who want a bit of an escape from big city life. Homebuyers enjoy a wide selection of the most luxurious homes to suit every taste.

Home values are also a whole lot higher than in the rest of the state, which attests to the fact that Bentleyville is considered an excellent place to put down roots. Homes in the village are seen as a viable investment, with the estimated median home value pegged at a much higher rate than the rest of Ohio.

PEPPER PIKE

Nestled in the heart of scenic Chagrin Valley, Pepper Pike boasts a location that’s “close to everything.” To start with, it’s only 12 miles east of downtown Cleveland. But people don’t just pass by Pepper Pike to other Northeast Ohio communities. Its rural-suburban feel, vast green spaces, and winding streets lined with elegant townhouses and large estates also make it a sought-after place to call home.

Education is also a key highlight in this neighborhood. Pepper Pike is served by the reputable Orange City School District, as well as the prestigious Ursuline College, one of the first higher education institutions for women in the United States.

The community takes pride in its eco-friendly initiatives, earning the distinction of being the “greenest” municipality in Cuyahoga County. Within this serene setting, Pepper Pike offers high-end recreation at exclusive country clubs like The Pepper Pike Club and The Country Club, a vibrant downtown district complete with specialty shops and restaurants, and a two-acre park that hosts numerous community events.

SHAKER HEIGHTS

Just 11 miles east of downtown Cleveland, Shaker Heights has tranquil, family-friendly neighborhoods, cultural richness, and numerous recreational amenities.

Dating back to the 1800s, Shaker Heights is composed of nine distinct communities, each with its own architectural charm and character. The community also has an abundance of green spaces, such as the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes. Located right in the heart of town, the Nature Center features over 2,000 feet of trails to explore all year round. Additionally, Shaker Heights has nearly 200 miles of sidewalks weaving throughout the city, proving that it is, indeed, a highly walkable community.

Shaker Heights is also valued for its highly-rated school system and proximity to well-known arts and educational institutions such as The Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland Institute of Music, and John Carroll University.

SOLON

It’s a well-known fact that Solon is one of the best places to live in Greater Cleveland. Cleveland Magazine agrees and so does the 2023 Parent Choice Awards.

But what exactly sets Solon apart? Aside from its highly-rated public school system, which is one of best performing districts in the state, it is also home to a variety of recreational parks and facilities, including the Solon Center for the Arts, the Grantwood Golf Course, the Solon Community Park, and the nearby South Chagrin Reservation.

Solon’s housing market offers a blend of modern convenience and natural beauty.
